Ashtanga

Is an ancient sequence of yoga postures and movements that has been handed down from teacher to student throughout the years. It is a very thoughtful and thorough series of postures always performed in the same order, and when practiced earnestly over time, transforms the student's body to a state of higher energy, fluidity, and lightness, and their mind to a higher level of clarity, patience and perception. Classes are 75 mins in length.

Vinyasa

Means simply, breathing and moving and is derived from the Ashtanga system. In Vinyasa class the teacher leads students through a sequence of Ashtanga based postures and movements that is never the same twice. Every class is different, causing the students to develop the skill of being calm, focused and open to whatever comes their way... Classes are 60 minutes in length.

DY Strength

Classes are Ashtanga - Vinyasa based and focused on strengthening key areas of the body... Arms, chest, back, core and legs.

DY FLow

classes are All Level Ashtanga - Vinyasa based and focused on training the student to flow in both body and mind from one challenge and transition to the next. Out Saturday evening practice is one of the only 90 minute Flow classes in the area... come challenge and stretch yourself.

DY Stretch

Classes consist mainly of classic, seated Yoga postures and are focused on stretching and opening of the hips, hamstrings, and back.

The number associated with each DY class on the schedule determines the minute length. Advanced Vinyasa classes are by invitation only. Please see Jason for requirements.
